Product Description

J. Griggs teaches you the techniques he used to build a 3 million dollar business he started when he was 17.

Every month, I release hours of new video training of me actually getting down to the nitty gritty. These are "not-so-obvious" strategies, tactics, techniques, tools, "work-arounds," and innovative practices I've learned over the years.

In fact, here are some of the specific, "nitty gritty" topics ongoing members can look forward to exploring (...do yourself a favor and read each and every bullet point. I'd bet you're not doing a tenth of the things mentioned below):

- The evolution of my company from a $500/month to a $1,000,000 a year operation and what had to change in order for us to get to the next level.

-How I discovered my passion and used direct response marketing to dominate a very targetable niche (and how you can "get in" where you "fit in")

-My personalization and follow-up strategies that literally force customers to pour their hearts out to me (well, technically to my customer service reps).

- Real-life tactics I'm using on my website to skyrocket conversions (like "day of the week" and "day of the month" customized audio messages).

- How I use web 2.0 tactics to drive traffic to all of my product salespages.

- How I started an interactive community from the ground up and grew it to over 72,000 members within 14 months.

-  How I get my community users to virally grow my mailing list for me (over 230,000 targeted musicians as of today) by encouraging them to create and promote their own profiles, urls, groups, forums, and more. I'll talk lots about engagement marketing, sense of ownership, and two-way interaction in the private access club, but for now ---- write these words down.

- How I use the power of online video (over 133 of them) to attract leads and sell more dvd courses.

- The power of persuasion and compliance techniques and how to use them to cause visitors to take action.

- ADVANCED: How I get a constant 40% opt-in rate on my landing pages. How I use "ip lookups" to automatically fill in 80% of my visitor's state and country (the less they do, the better).

- ADVANCED: My "save the sale" technique that allows me to know exactly what subscribers have reached various "checkpoints" like order forms or intermediary upsale pages. Hint: It has to do with my next bullet point.

- How I cookie "first name" and "e-mail" on every subscribers computer so when they return to additional opt-in pages, they never have to re-enter this information. In fact, sometimes I can submit their cookied information to "null" lists in the background just to know what subscribers have reached certain pages on my site. Of course, I can then automatically add them to various segmented lists based on what pages they've reached. Urghhhh, I want to type more here but I have to save this for my paying club members. It's just too good and doesn't take a custom-built e-commerce system to do it.

- The key to sending personable voiceblasts that cause customers to return your calls asking for YOU (...not those generic voiceblasts that are obviously being sent to hundreds of people). Within minutes, people call my office excited that "Jermaine Griggs" just left a message on their answering machine. Oh yeah, and how to find the right voiceblast services that let you have the choice of doing answering machine messages only (this is key when trying to sound personal).

- ADVANCED: How to use voiceblasting in conjunction with my "save the sale" technique to offer mega good deals to subscribers who have reached "qualifying" pages on your site. Then once they buy the product, they're taken off the "save the sale" list for that particular product. Imagine doing this for every product? (I feel like writing more here but my top secrets are for people who value me enough to pay me what I'm worth).

- My personal take on why 9 out of 10 business fail within the first five years and how I stood the test of time (going on eight years)!

- How I use Google's free Website Optimizer tool to conduct extensive multivariate tests on all my sales pages (like testing multiple sub-headlines with multiple headlines with multiple opening paragraphs with multiple bullet points... it's amazing what you can do with that thing). It puts classic A-B split testing to shame, even though there's still some situations where I use it too. (Most marketers throw this "multivariate testing" word around to sound "advanced" but most don't have a clue. I discovered this at one seminar when I started talking about all this stuff and no one else seemed to be testing this way yet... but were floored by my results).

- The power of click tracking and heat maps and how you can use this form of testing to find out where people are reading and clicking on your pages. In fact you can even visually see where people are clicking based on where they've come from. You may find that "Google" people read and click different links on your page than yahoo visitors (...this works for affiliates too).

- ADVANCED: How I altered third party services like 1shoppingcart to do exactly what I want. According to 1shoppingcart personnel, I'm the first and only person to upsell items at the bottom of my order forms. Yup... just like Amazon.com. A customer puts in all their credit card information... then before pressing submit, they are presented with a number of complimentary products with a simple checkbox that literally adds the product to the cart right at that moment. This isn't the normal functionality of the cart. I spent thousands of dollars figuring this out and have made it back 30 times over with last minute value-adds my customers can't resist. I've created multiple variations of this with dozens of products (but this isn't the only "add-on" I've created for them and other services. Read below to see some other stuff I've done).

- ADVANCED: How I automatically download orders (no human intervention) from my shopping cart and swallow them into a custom-built fulfillment management system that then auto-exports a pdf of pending orders to a company that fulfills each order, scans back in the tracking number, and automatically sends this number back to 1shoppingcart to e-mail the customer. I know it sounds all advanced but it's very simple. I've done the hardest part and I'll even give you the name and hookup with the "techie" who did all this for me.

- "Front row" access to observe future ideas I'm developing (birthday marketing tool, social gaming online score-keeping site, instant backend selling on the thank you page of your order form without the customer having to re-enter their information, mp3 parsing, which will allow my visitors to click on personalized audio buttons that say "Hi <Jane>, welcome to day 3 of your training I've quickly put together for you." It's crazy what you can do with a little creativity and technology). Let's just say I don't sleep.

- How I create video products ready to be duplicated in less than 72 hours. Quite frankly, I was tired of waiting 3-4 months for no-good editors to finish my piano videos so after tons of research, I found out how to have 80% of my video editing done immediately after recording. The other 20% just involves adding a few titles and "extras." It's literally a 3-day process and I'll pull the curtains back on my operation for my club members.

- How I get my cd-roms and audio cds duplicated for $.21 cents and my dvd courses duplicated for $.31 cents (the silk screening is free after the $40 set up charge) and they even shrink wrap for free if you buy their $.16 cent dvd cases. Out the door... $.40 cents at most. I'll give you access to my contact, who currently holds the record as one of the cheapest duplication houses in the country (yet most of their clients come by referral so you can't expect to find them widely publicized online). And no, I'm not compensated for recommending you.

-  How I used Google's new Print Ads service to place ads in newspapers across the country without ever talking to one sales rep. Most marketers haven't explored this option but you'll get the nitty gritty on this from me, and a look at the ads they created in hours!

- How I set up a full monitoring and reports system that sends sales and new subscriber counts to my cell phone every hour (... this may be too much for some folks but I enjoy not having to log in to my cart at all during the day). What's more, if any of my third party services are down, I'm hit with a text message within 15 seconds and notified when they're back up. I've called services the minute they went down and have witnessed their technical support departments amazed at how fast I caught a problem that just occurred less than a minute before.

- My product development philosphy and how I repurpose content to provide a never-ending supply of bonuses, online "surprise" value add-ons, and free "lead-generating" content for my community.

- ADVANCED: How I use address book importing (gmail, yahoo, aol, msn, hotmail) and incentive-based contests to encourage community users to invite their friends to the site. Don't be fooled, no one remembers and enters more than a couple of e-mail addresses into a "refer-a-friend" form. But if they like, know, and trust you, they'll upload 200 friends from their favorite e-mail or messenger service INSTANTLY with a push of a button (there's no extra work to invite 2 people than there is to invite 200 people, depending on how many people are in their address book or buddy list). This tip alone is worth value of a few years in my club and members will get the full scoop on it.

- How letting users take control of certain aspects of your site can help catapult you to new levels of exposure. If you haven't jumped on the web 2.0 bandwagon, you're going to get left behind.

- How I got over 500 testimonials within the first few days of sending out a private message to my community. I simply asked people to share their good expierences with our products, site, community, and resources --- and the response was overwhelming.

- How I use mindmaps to design new products, come up with course content, develop new projects for rentacoder.com, and to get my thoughts in a visual format.

- How I've built up an army of 2,000 affiliates who sell hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of products for me each and every year --- and the beauty is that you only have to pay them when they make sales.

- How to train your affiliates with a full-blown training center (I'm talking about dozens of promotional tools, teleseminars, training videos, educational content, monthly newsletters and "time-sensitive" promos, sample copy, and more). Are you leaving money on the table when it comes to leveraging the power of other sites. Hint: It's not just about one-time jv partners. I'd rather have 2,000 ongoing affiliates than "hit-it-and-quit-it" partners that promote once and their gone.

- How I turned holidays into goldmines. For a while, holidays like "Independence Day" were known for low sales because the office was closed and most people are enjoying the day with their families. However, by offering a certain type of limited-time offer, I was able to turn a struggling $1,200 holiday into a $10,000 payday.

- How I get other people to create courses for me without any royalties, splits, or anything like that. In fact, we just finished shooting a jazz video that will make tens of thousands of dollars (if not hundreds of thousands in a couple of months) and I only paid the featured instructor a one-time fee. Due to a great auditioning process, I even got fully-written outlines from him and the runner-up who we didn't even choose. You'll get the nitty gritty on where I find them and how I get them to work for a flat-rate fee.

And much more...

As you can see, with me, you won't get the average "Joe Schmoe" stuff everyone's teaching. You get the top-secret, "not-so-obvious" strategies I've used to virtually become one of the highest paid piano teachers on the net.

Each and every month, I'll be exploring multiple strategies and tactics from this list (and even strategies that are "too confidential" to put on the list above).

In fact, I'll be uploading gigabytes upon gigabytes of up-to-the-minute information, test results, and real-life examples from my own business. A good 4 to 8 videos a month to be exact, in addition to the hours of insider information that's already archived in various areas of the club.
Then on top of that, I'll be conducting regular Q&A teleseminars, interviewing other successful entrepreneurs, and posting the recordings in the private archive vault for members to access any time they want, 24/7.

I had bought a course from Jermaine a couple of years ago and just never had time to really get into it. I did not ask for a refund. It is not his fault that I ordered it and did not have time.....
Now, I have signed on for his Nitty Gritty Marketing site and am SO favorably impressed!
Jermaine knows his business and he knows his business. By that I mean, he knows how to teach piano by ear AND he knows how to teach the business aspects of it.
He is one talented fella and he shares abundantly with any and all who are willing to learn.
Way to go, Jermaine.
You have set a high standard for quality!

This is my second month in Nitty Gritty Marketing and I must say Jermaine is doing a great job with it. The site is packed with great content and tools that he adds to each month. I'm finding it hard to keep up with all the great stuff he's adding.

The calls are also awesome Eric and Jermaine make a great team and both do there best to see to it that they provide great content and everyones questioned are answered.

It is a little pricey at $97.00 a month but it looks like it may well be worth every cent. Time will tell.
