Yes, I was one of the many that decided to plonk over 500 bucks on Mike Filsaime's course because of the great bonuses other marketers were giving away promoting the 7 Figure Code.
Anyway, the real reason why I decided to invest in this course was simple. I wanted to learn how to run and grow a real Internet BUSINESS, and not be stuck in the self-employed mindset most Internet markets seem to have.
So I bought the course and it came in a nice big box all nicely wrapped and I couldn't wait to tear it open and start watching the first DVD in the series. In all, there are 16 DVDs in this course covering every aspect you need to know about how you can run 7 figure Internet business.
Anyway, just so you know, this course is 16 DVDs and it comes with two binder manuals. The DVDs are a recording of Mike's recent 2007figurebusiness seminar and the manuals are the powerpoint slides that the speakers used during the event.
I won't be going through each and every DVD here (because that will just bore you with the length), but I will tell you what I absolutely loved in this course, and what I didn't find too impressive.
First off, Mike and Tom Beal do a great job of presenting their ideas and philosophies across, you'd find it highly entertaining and comfortable watching them.
To start of the whole thing, Mike and Tom introduce the concept of having a clear mission and vision of having a business in the first place. Because it's quite clear that most Internet marketers got into this whole thing for the money. And that's why they're still stuck in the self-employed trap. To run and grow a successful business requires a vision beyond just making money, and Mike and Tom share a great deal on how best you can craft a perfect mission and vision for your Internet business.
Anther great concept I learned was the Hedgehog concept where it reveals to you how best to use your limited skills and resources and how to focus your efforts that will create the most results for you. The common danger that most I.M.ers face is that they try to do every damn thing themselves, and that creates a huge bottleneck for business growth. This concept alone has helped me to let go some of the tasks that I thought I needed to do to grow my online business, and as a result simply focus on my passion and strengths.
Another great part of this course is the brief history of Mike Filsaime Inc. Mike shares with you how he started out as a car salesman and transformed into a $4.5 million business owner. When you go through this, you realize that his success didn't happen overnight, and that it was small steps along the way that got him to where he was today. He also takes you behind the scenes of his business and how he runs things there, and to me this alone is worth the price of the course - Getting a first hand view of how this CEO manages and runs his multi-million dollar business, in detail.
Another great part of this course that I like is when Mike reveals how he uses outsourcing and virtual staff to get his business growing and at the same time, save more time for him to do he does best. He reveals to you the business operations that need to be outsourced as soon as possible, where to find the companies or people who can do them for you, and best of all, how to manage them.
He also goes on into hiring and managing full-time employees when your business starts reaching the level where you start needing them.
Another great part I like is Mike's concept of F.A.S.T profits. This concept teaches you that profits come LAST. Money is not that important at all (hurray!), and that what is more important is that the income generating activities you do actually free up your time, and not take it away from you.
Like Mike puts it so plainly - "Life is Good! - Don't screw it up for more money!"
Another great section is the part where he reveals to you the resources he personally uses to run his Internet business. From payment processors, autoresponders, hosting, software, fulfillment, outsourcing, audio video tools, etc. Mike tells you exactly where he goes to to get these things done.
I also like the part on Advanced Marketing on how MIke crafts his offers to his customers and the sales processes that he creates that he has his prospects run through. He even shows his own real life case studies to highlight to you the way he implements these strategies into his own business and the results from doing so. Another great eye-opener.
As it is there is a TON of great information in this course and I just covered the parts that I personally liked - which were the parts where Mike and Tom reveal the real nuts and bolts of running their business. There's a lot of other great stuff in this course and there may be other topics that may interest you, so it be best if you read the salesletter and see if it's what you need right now in your stage of education.
Now on to the parts I didn't really like.
Well, I guess this part is slightly biased because the sections I didn't really enjoy where the ones where I already knew what the speaker was sharing about. So this one could be subjective.
For example, there's a DVD on PPC where the two guest speakers briefly share with you their model on how they run their PPC campaigns. It was nothing entirely new to me at all, but I guess if it's your first time hearing it, you might probably find it great info.
Another section that didn't interest me was the part where Dave Cavanagh was sharing about how he uses 1ShoppingCart and all the nifty functions it has. (ummm.. sorry Dave)
Don't get me wrong though... Dave's great speaker. It's just that in this case what he shared about 1SC was basic at best to me and nothing new. Maybe it's because I use 1SC and I know more or less how to move around it. So this part was redundant for me.
Another part that really put me to sleep (I have a friend to verify this) was when a guest speaker was sharing about he legal stuff you need to do when running a business.
He was going on and on about how you could get sued and lose all your money blah, blah, blah. I mean I get the seriousness of the issue and I'm sure that protecting your assets is the smart thing to do, but then I felt it was way overdrawn. (lawyers...)
So like I said there really is a TON of great info packed into these 16 DVDs, so it's best you have a look at the site yourself and decide of this is what you need at the moment.
If you've just started out in your I.M. career, I wouldn't recommend you get this at all, because it's still way beyond your level when you're still learning about domains, hosting, autoresponders, etc. (But then Mike always says 'Begin with the end in mind...).
But if you've been doing I.M. for some time now and you're stuck at the five or six figure level and you want to move on to the next step, then this could be the course you need.
From my experience, anything that involves Stephen Pierce and Mike Filsaime must be good.

Course was excellent with a lot of information -- almost too much for some, but the average person would not be buying the course. You get printed, audio and video info from different sources. I liked the printed items, especially Mike's real-world case studies and very honest statements about what worked and what didn't. I can refer this course to others, with one word of caution -> be ready to spend some time reading, listening, and digesting the information. There are some excellent nuggets in the course that provides many ah-ha's, but you must be willing to reframe Mike's story into yours as you find and build your personal 7-figure model. 7 figures from home is possible, as Mike and others have demonstrated.
