Great info! Boardtracker is something I wasn’t aware of. With all the recent product launches talking about building a list (& finding a community to get involved in so you can build one if you don’t have a list), this site gives the answer to “where” to find communities to get started in the first place.

You are a total Genius on so many levels. You may or may not realize this but you probably do as you are the genius, you are creating a lot of new friends that you don’t even know exist. I’ve been missing out!

I’ll have to admit that though I’ve been on your mailing list for
awhile, I get so much motivational and business stuff I’ve never
actually checked it out.

They say timing is everything, and that there are no coincidences…

I just put up a new website and as I frequently ‘hang out’ at
Mike Litmans site, I added the weblink to my signature line. Within
hours of posting, I got bunches of hits! Many requesting
additional info. So I can vouch that this method of ‘advertising’
works!

As I’m thinking … ‘Gee, this is pretty neat, I wonder what other
appropriate blogs I can contribute to …’ Low and behold …
THERE IS YOUR EMAIL ! Unbelievable. Ask and it is given!
It actually gave me chills.

I hadn’t thought of forums, but I can’t wait to search out other
appropriate places to give my website exposure. What a terrific
idea and resource. Thank you sooooooo much!!

Oops! I meant to add (hope it’s OK!) that you might want to check
out http://www.statcounter.com and add one of their free counters on
your site before you do this. Mine is invisible. : )

It tracks tons of different info – but most important here …
it tells you the referring site. That will allow you to track
WHICH forums are giving you the most bang for your buck so you
know the best places to hang out.

Hope this in some small bit gives back for the great info I picked
up here today!

Great insight! Now I can see how forums relate to traffic generation. who cares about which forum or topic your interested in. As long as you can grab the attention right away and send traffic to your site, then you have mastered the forum game.

Trully great insight. I never looked forum from this perspective. For me they were steril grey websites that were very apathetic to my appeal. I saw no connection at all. But now I can see how to use them to your advantage. Great insight! Thanks again.

yes i agree that if you isolate you re not gonna make any money and other things in your life in all areas.

Great talks but so far I haven’t been able to get the links to work like yhou say. I get a small list of links in colums at the top with a lot of google sponsered sights under that. I can’t find the rest of what you talk about. As a real newbe to using the web I often find that I can’t follow a lot of these instructions on my system. I use MSN for ISP. Is that my problem? Why do I get different results then what you say I should get. Without getting to the last part of your example the site is useless to me. HELP!! – Robert
