I appreciate learning more about Stephen’s life before he became successful; it explains where he is coming from. But there was no mention about the 7 steps to creating your own money machine. Or did I miss something?

Great points!

Some people think that in order to make money they just need to write a couple of articles, do some social media stuff and then sit back and collect money.

There is work involved in this business and you need to have in place a system that works, then measure all the elements of your system so that you can improve them.

Its great to look at a business from a vertical stand point were you can see whats stopping and/or preventing the other elements of your business to move versus looking at it horizontal stand point were to tweak everything and see no results because you think everything is not working.

I see so many people get stuck on tweaking the look of their blog, improving the graphics, etc and forgetting to get traffic… the end result is always disaster.

However, I’ve told these newbies over and over again, just get the site functional and focus completely on driving traffic.

When you have the traffic you can tweak to improve conversions.

It’s easy… but in the newbies I’ve come across, it seems like they have to have a complete failure before they get it…
