- Barnes&Noble made some fantastic predictions concerning its share of the print and digital book markets at its investor meeting yesterday. While ebook sales accounted for only about $250 million for the retailer last year, their current projections are putting ebook sales at more than $2 billion by 2015.
- Association of American Publishers reported that US e-book revenues had grown 146% in March over the same month a year earlier.
- eBook sales are now counting for 17% of revenue at Simon & Schuster.
- eBook sales nearly tripled at John Wiley & Sons. They now account for 11% of revenue for the professional/trade unit at Wiley (vs. 4% in the same quarter of last year). Wiley reported seeing strong sales growth at both Amazon and iBooks.
- Hachette reported that ebooks were now 20% of sales in the US and 8% of sales in the UK. That’s double the figures for the first half of last year.
- eBook Sales have More than Doubled at Random House.

How to Make Money with HubPages
www.HubPages is a user generated content site. That means that you, and others, create the content on the site. Each piece of content you create becomes a hub or an individual web page. You can receive comments on the page, drive traffic to it, add content, and make money with your HubPage. In fact, if you’re interested in making money online but don’t want to build or manage your own website, a hub page may be the answer you’ve been looking for.
Here are just a few ways you can make money with HubPages.
#1 AdSense
AdSense is Google’s publishing program. Sign up for AdSense; it’s free, and you can publish Google ads on your HubPages. Each time someone clicks on an ad, you earn money. Now Google has rules, like you can only have three ads on a page and you cannot ask people to click or call attention to the ads. So it’s important to know what the rules are before you sign up.
And like many monetization tools, the more content you create, the more money you’ll make. The same is true with AdSense. The more hubs you have, the more AdSense profit potential.
#2 Affiliate Marketing
Another way to monetize your HubPages is to promote affiliate products. You can create product demonstrations and upload videos to your HubPage. You can create articles and include a call to action that links to an affiliate product or service. You can also write reviews or create comparison charts and let readers see which affiliate product is right for them.
Make sure your content is valuable rather than a blatant advertisement for your affiliate program. Present an unbiased review and/or an informative article to help your readers. You’ll make more money and earn more dedicated followers.

You can also use HubPages to sell your own products or services. For example, if you write a book or create a home study course you can write and publish content that attracts and helps your audience. Then, include a call to action that drives traffic to your sales page.
For example, you might create a hub page on organizing your home with many different tips and articles on the subject. You can then tell readers that they can visit your website to purchase a book or course that can help them organize their home from top to bottom in 30 days.
Any niche topic can make money on HubPages. It is a growing site with more and more users every day. According to statistics, HubPages received around 42 million visits in December 2010 and over 90 million page views. Increase Income By Doing This One Proven Thing
Okay, so you’re looking for a way to increase income?
In good times as well as bad economic times, there is always a way to increase your income.
However, for many people, too much time is spent complaining about how bad it is and wrestling with what isn’t working.
As a result they become blinded to new or additional opportunities to increase income.

No affiliates, no product launch thingy and I generate more sales at a significantly lower cost than pay per click advertising and banner media buying.
That means YOU can do it too!
You don’t have to have your own list… you don’t have to have affiliates… heck, you don’t even need your own product.
In this video I show you the actual screen shot of the tracking results from my very first test.
I will also show you how much traffic I got, what it cost me to do and how much I made on the front end. I’ll also show you 3 different marketing pieces that I’ve been using successfully.
One quick note before we get to the video. –> This is not a new method.
At the time of my first using this, it was a “new to me” method because I hadn’t used it before.

21 Basic Laws Of Business Success
It’s been a decade now since I started marketing online.
Within that decade I’ve lost some… and I’ve won some… I’ve made millions and helped others do the same.
And along this journey I’ve always looked to have high standards in both life and business and to continue to raise those standards.
I already knew perfection was a goal of frustration, and that it’s continuous progress that provides the unlimited open space to be able to give more and get more.
After having made my first $500,000 in 12 months in 2000, I quickly made millions in 2001 and 2002 in the futures and commodities markets. Long before I ever entered into the “internet marketing” space or personal development space.
So, it was in 2003 that I reflected on what helped with this success and as I had my eye on going into new markets and growing our business even further I then wrote a list of “21 Basic Laws of Business Success” that I used to govern my actions in business.
These laws, however basic have been invaluable in a decades worth of success, not just for us, by for those I’ve had the privileged of working with and serving.
With that said, this week my wife pulled out one of the original copies and asked me to post it to the blog so I agreed.
I hope you enjoy these basic laws and that any adoption of these bring you the success we’ve been able to enjoy.
So here ya go… 21 Basic Laws Of Business Success
Law #1: Always target a niche market. (If you want to get rich target a niche, if you want to go broke, market to all the folks.)
Law #2: Identifying a problem in that niche market is priority #1.
Law #3: Creating a desired solution for that problem is priority #2.
Law #4: Delivering that solution for a profit to your niche market is priority #3.
Law #5: Gain confidence from your target market by giving true value.
Law #6: Establish your authority through originality.
Law #7: Innovation trumps imitation.
Law #8: Give – then give some more.
Law #9: Never greet a new subscriber with a message asking for money.
Law #10: Don’t be deceitful, devious or dishonest as it only leads to disaster.
Law #11: Be truthful to be received as trustworthy.
Law #12: Boldness and brilliance will break your income records.
Law #13: Be daring by using the freshness of your individuality.
Law #14: It’s about the targeted traffic conversion, not the targeted traffic collecting.
Law #15: Be authentic and different by substantiating your claims.
Law #16: Don’t just say it, prove it.
Law #17: Implementation is everything. If you don’t implement what you know, it’s like you never knew it all.
Law #18: Knowing is not proven in what you say, it’s proven in what you do.
Law #19: Without relationships, there are no exchanges of products or services for money.
Law #20: All success, accomplishments and achievements are found on roads that travel through other people.
Law #21: When you screw other people, you have screwed yourself.
