Who Else Wants To Know How To Be Productive?

Does your productivity ever get hampered by your desire to find the best possible solution? Have you been looking for ways to learn how to be productive?

As you seek the easiest or fastest route to your goal, you may find yourself stopped entirely. Sometimes you may even do this on purpose, to keep from having to make a decision.

However, there’s a work-around. Maybe you’ve heard of the term, “heuristic.” Heuristics are rules that allow a solution to be found more quickly. This is one of things that when you’re looking at options on how to be productive, this sits as the top as one of the best ever. That said, a heuristic is not just a way to learn how to be productive, with a heuristic a resolution can be found even when the entire path isn’t clear from the onset.

For example, if there were no roads, but you lived in New York and wanted to make your way to California, a heuristic might be:

Walk west as far as you can.

Walk around any obstacle, if possible.

If faced with a mountain range, walk toward the space between 2 small peaks.

Repeat until reaching California.

Does this heuristic give you the most efficient solution? No; however, it will get you where you want to go, and you won’t waste a lot of time trying to make up your mind.

Now, since this post is about how to be productive, how about you test out these behavioral heuristics to increase your productivity:

1. Choose the right time. Nearly everyone has times of the day when they are most effective and times when they tend to drag. It’s smart to schedule the most critical tasks for your most effective time of the day.

2. Toss it. If a task doesn’t really need to be done, just get rid of it altogether.

3. Get the bad stuff out of the way. Do the unpleasant items quickly and as early in the day as possible.

4. Set a goal each day (or night). In the morning, decide what you want to accomplish that day. This can be even more effective when planned the night before. Once you have a sense of direction, you can spend all your time getting things done!

5. Eliminate all communication. While you’re working, turn off the phone / cell phone, and don’t check your email. Hang a sign that says, “Do not disturb,” if necessary. You don’t have to do this for all your tasks, but at least do it during the more difficult items.

6. Batch similar tasks together. Do all your emailing at one time. Make all your phone calls at another. Open your snail mail during a set block of time. You’ll waste less time by doing your work in this fashion.

7. Set a timer. Even if a task might take hours, starting will seem easier if you simply give yourself 30 minutes to get as much done as you can. When seeking a rapid solution to how to be productive, a time limit seems to help many people concentrate and work better, and be more productive too.

8. Set targets. For example, if you have to make cold-calls for your sales job, tell yourself that you’re not getting up for any reason until you’ve made at least 100 calls. Regardless of what happens, refuse to stop until you hit your target.

9. Use the Pareto Principle. This principle states that 20% of the actions you could take will provide you with 80% of the benefits. So focus on the tasks that will accomplish the most. This alone can help you to learn how to be productive. Unfortunately, these are frequently the tasks that are not enjoyable. You might be surprised how little you really have to do if you focus on the critical 20%.

10. Delegate some of your work. Is there anyone else who can help you? The people around you are resources. When appropriate, use their time and talents wisely to get things done more quickly.

11. Set a deadline. Having a specific endpoint will really help to focus your time and energy. If a task doesn’t feel necessary, chances are that it won’t get done.

12. Increase your speed. It sounds silly, but this can really help. Try doing everything a little faster. Walk faster, talk faster, type faster, and read faster.

Implement these heuristics into your life and you’ll find yourself getting more done in less time. The ultimate secret in understanding how to be productive is to stay on task and not waste any time. These rules will help you do just that.

On another note of learning how to be productive, be sure to check out the So “Stop Planning, Start Doing, and Achieve More!” blog post which includes handy manual you can download for free.

Would you like to know how to be happy in life?

Happiness is choice.

To me the #1 secret of how to be happy in life is to first choose to design your life.

By designing our lives, we are able to go through each day living with a purpose. And it’s that living with a purpose that will help us to be happy in life regardless of what’s going on around. So learning how to be happy in life, is really about leanring how to design the life we will be happy to live.

So to help you be design your life, have this “How To Be Happy In Life – Design Your Life Workbook” that you can download free and start designing your life immediately.

==> Click here to download your “How To Be Happy In Life – Design Your Life Workbook”.

Note about downloading the Workbook: The Workbook is downloading fine in IE and Firefox when clicking on it. With Chrome however, you will need to right click and “save link as” to download it.

You’ve probably heard that you can only get where you want to be if you know where you’re going. This statement is as true now as the first time it was said. So how do you come to know where you’re going, so you can get where you want to be?

To start with, goals are crucial. When we set goals, what we’re really trying to do is to bring each piece of our lives in line with our overall vision for ourselves. Using a powerful vision-setting process can help you set more effective goals, since you can chart a course that will take you toward and support your vision.

Do you have a vision for each segment of your life? Do you know where you’re headed spiritually, socially, relationally, physically, financially, and more?

Use this process to help you create a vision that works for you:

1. Write down your vision for a particular aspect of your life. Write a couple of paragraphs describing what you’d like to have or be. There’s no right or wrong. In fact, you probably won’t precisely articulate your dreams the very first time you try the exercise. A reasonable guess is a good place to start. This is the first step to understanding how to be happy in life.

In writing your vision, avoid focusing on what you don’t want, because this will only bring about more of that. Turn your back on negativity and focus on what you do want to bring about.

For example, if you want more money: Avoid wording your statement like: “I don’t want to be poor anymore.” Instead, envision what it would be like to be rich, which is what you want, and write about what that would be like for you.

Although you may feel challenged when first learning to focus on what you want, it gets easier. Plus, the rewards are spectacular when you can do it consistently. You’ll start to notice that your life seems as if you can change it at will, which you can.

2. Visualize. Read your vision statement 2-3 times a day and imagine that aspect of your life matches your vision perfectly. How does your vision make you feel? Are you really excited and enthusiastic? Is it appealing to you on all levels? This shouldn’t take more than 60 seconds to do each time. This is the next to to understanding how to be happy in life.

3. Refine. If you feel really good about your vision, that’s great. If not, now is the time to make some alterations. Continue refining the image of your dream life until doing your visualization feels spectacular. Re-write each new version and you will be closer to understanding how to be happy in life.

At this point, you may be wondering when this process ever ends. Fortunately, it never ends. Your vision will forever be changing slightly throughout your life, which is good, since your desires will also change over time.

4. Review your vision daily and ensure that it continues to attract you. This will rapidly usher change into your life. In turn, these changes will demonstrate that you’re actually moving towards that vision. It’s one thing to know how to be happy in life, it’s another thing to sustain that happiness. This daily review is important to going beyond knowing how to be happy in life. It’s important to staying happy in life.

5. Create separate vision statements for all the areas of your life. Consider your finances, relationships, adventure, health, social life, and spirituality. If you can get all these visions to look just the way you want, imagine what your life will look like!

Why Spend Time On This Process?

Consider all the things you do every day. Everything you do is either helping you reach your vision or helping someone else reach theirs. Wouldn’t you rather help yourself reach yours?
Creating a vision is the first step to creating the life you desire. Tweak your visions a couple of times a day and really focus on the experience of living that vision. This gets easier all the time, because imagining something enjoyable is pleasurable in itself.

Don’t hesitate; create your visions today. Then, start reviewing and improving them immediately. Your life will change rapidly for the better. You’ll then be spending your time making your own visions a reality instead of making someone else’s dream come true.

Life is to be savored and enjoyed. Each person on earth deserves to have a happy life. However, in order to live a life you love and that you are happy with, it’s important to consider a Life Plan in which you’ve formulated everything you want out of life.

1. Avoid just going through the motions. One reason you may find it difficult to perform everyday tasks is that you get bored. Of course you’re going to try to avoid something that you find tedious! You can combat this mentality by adding some depth to your thinking while you’re engaging in tasks you dislike.

Brainstorm ways that you can complete the task in a more efficient manner. Then you can compete with yourself to see how quickly you can complete the task in the future. The quicker you get it done, the sooner you can move on to bigger and better things!

2. Get spiritual. Don’t be afraid to get in touch with your spiritual side. Many people find it highly motivating! When you discover some answers to life’s tough questions, it brings you clarity, and you may be more likely to work harder to achieve your desires.

3. Set a goal. You might lack motivation because you don’t have a goal. If you aren’t even sure what you’re working towards, you’ll have difficulty finding motivation.

If you have a large goal, break up the goal into a series of small, achievable tasks and set each task as a separate goal. This helps you maintain motivation because you’re constantly achieving your goals. You can see the results of your hard work!

4. Hold yourself accountable. In order to ensure that you don’t stray from your chosen path, evaluate your progress every week or even every day. Determine how you can do better the next week.

If you find that it’s difficult to keep yourself accountable, don’t be afraid to ask for help. You may enjoy having others check up on you to make sure you stay on task.

5. Think positive thoughts. Negative thinking and lack of motivation go hand in hand. You can increase your motivation by concentrating on eliminating your negative thinking patterns. Replace negative feelings with optimism and positive thoughts and images.

When you catch yourself feeling down, make an extra effort to seek the silver lining. It’s always there. If you take the time to look hard enough, you’ll find it.

6. Make a change. If you think you’ve tried everything and you still can’t get motivated, perhaps you should consider a life change. Maybe there’s a reason why you’re feeling this way.

If you don’t feel motivated to work toward your major life goals, consider some alternatives that may be more in line with your true desires.

If you’re having trouble finding motivation for everyday chores, see if you can find a way to hire some help.

Always keep in mind that “the time is now.” Put procrastination into your past and you’ll feel happy and accomplished at the end of the day, instead of stressed out or regretful.

When you’re motivated, life is more fulfilling. Use these strategies to wake up your motivation and enjoy the difference!

Are you unsure which of your priorities is most important in the New Year? Do you have plenty of dreams for the future, but not many concrete plans?

Check out these 15 Outstanding New Years Resolution Ideas you can make to improve your physical and mental well being during the next 12 months and beyond.

Resolutions to Improve Your Physical Health

1. Eat right. Focus on adopting healthy eating habits rather than resorting to crash diets. Learn to eat more slowly and reduce your portion sizes.

Eat a variety of foods with plenty of complex carbohydrates, fresh vegetables and fruits. Add in some lean proteins and healthy fats to complete your meals

2. Exercise daily. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate aerobic exercise every day. Round that out with training for strength and flexibility.

Find a variety of activities that you enjoy, like brisk walks and biking.

Get an exercise ball or treadmill that you can use at home on busy days or when the weather outside is unpleasant.

3. Get adequate rest and sleep. Insufficient sleep can make you more vulnerable to weight gain and many illnesses. Different individuals need different amounts of sleep, but the conventional eight hours is a good rule for most people. If you constantly feel drowsy, try going to bed earlier.

4. Take care of your bones. Almost half of all women over 50 will suffer an osteoporosis-related fracture. Men can be at risk too. Eat plenty of foods rich in calcium and vitamin D. Get some sunshine and lift weights or do other resistance training.

5. Practice good posture. Strong abdominal muscles will protect your back from injury and help you look younger.Get used to pressing your navel towards your lower back and keeping your shoulders relaxed. Breathe from your abdomen rather than your chest.

6. Quit smoking. You probably already know all the dangers of smoking, including lung cancer and premature aging.

Many people make several attempts before quitting for good so be open to various cessation methods. Your doctor may be able to help you find the right plan for you.

7. Drink alcohol in moderation. Some people may need to avoid alcohol all together. Others can stay safe within the general limits of one drink a day for women and two for men. Avoid alcohol before bed so you get good quality sleep.

8. See your doctor. Regular checkups enable early treatment to keep small health issues from growing worse. If you can’t afford health insurance, you may be able to get some free or inexpensive screenings at local pharmacies and health fairs.

Resolutions to Improve Your Mental Health

1. Manage stress. Keeping stress under control lets you enjoy life more. Set aside time each day for meditation or listening to soothing music.

2. Build healthy relationships. Develop a strong network of support. Communicate openly and with respect.

3. Monitor your thoughts. Think positive. Divert your attention away from nonproductive worrying by brainstorming creative solutions to challenging situations.

4. Practice positive self talk. Be a good friend to yourself. Remind yourself of your strengths and accomplishments.

5. Be compassionate.Show compassion to yourself and others. Be aware of the suffering in the world and look for ways to alleviate it.

6. Engage in lifelong learning. Keep your mind sharp by giving it constant challenges. Take adult education classes or listen to foreign language tapes.

7. Consider counseling. It’s wise and courageous to ask for help when you need it.Professional counseling or spiritual practices may help you bounce back from unfortunate events like divorce or unemployment. They can be useful for smaller things, too, like if you’ve just had a rough week.

While many New Year’s resolutions get discarded faster than the dried out Christmas tree, there are ways to make them stick. Set specific goals that are meaningful and attainable for you.

Improving your physical and mental health is a great gift for yourself and your whole family.

A goal is like a compass. It helps you focus on where you want to go in life and make positive progress to get there. However, it’s important to remember that you need clarity in your goals from time to time. You’ll want to make it as easy as possible for you to reach them.

It may take some more time on your part, but when you write out detailed instructions for yourself instead of vague ideas, you have a much better chance at success. Not only do you know exactly what you need to do, but such plans also tend to invigorate you with more enthusiasm.

Follow these tips in order to clarify your goals:

1. Figure out your ultimate goal. What, exactly, do you want?

Instead of a goal like “I want to be successful,” get down to specifics, such as “I want to own my own (type) business which brings in at least $10,000 per month after taxes.”

2. Don’t be afraid of detail. You make the ultimate decision on what you want. Just don’t be afraid to set the details. Avoid goals like “I want to be rich” because there is no detail.

How much money do you want to make?

Why? What will this money provide for you that you desire?

What lifestyle do you want? Cars, homes, ability to travel the world, philanthropy?

How do you want to earn this money?

When do you want this to happen?

How can you prepare for this?

3. Break up your goals. When you stare at the ultimate goal, it may seem intimidating and unattainable. It’s important to break up your main goal into smaller goals. Write out detailed plans about how you’ll reach each of the smaller goals.

For example, if you want to start your own business, a small goal would be to research your local and federal business laws and register a name.

4. Give yourself deadlines. It’s vital to give yourself deadlines so you know you’re making progress towards your goals. Each of your small goals should have an attainable deadline.

In the business example above, maybe you’d give yourself a week’s time in order to research different business structures and laws.

5. Keep track. Make detailed notes about what you have done so far. Keeping track of your progress will help you stay organized and on top of your goals.

6. Make alternate plans. Sometimes you won’t be able to make the deadline you have set out for yourself, or maybe you’ll be unable to follow through with a current plan entirely. It’s important to think of alternatives in case certain situations don’t work out in your favor. If you already have back up plans in place, you’ll save time if you run into snags on the way to your goals.

7. Schedule review time. I suggest once a week you look at your big picture goals and the reason why they are important. This is like going back to the gas station to fill up. By reviewing the big picture and all the compelling reasons why your goals are important, this will ensure that you remain juiced up and motivated in the face of obstacles. I also suggest that once a day for a minimum of 15 minutes and up to 60 minutes you create a list and map out the top 7 things you will do that day (big or small) to make continuous progress towards your goals.

Get Organized

Organization can mean keeping all of your detailed plans and journals in a binder with tabs for easy access to your various sets of notes. Alternatively, you may opt to keep your materials organized by using project management software on your computer. Just remember to make backups of your digital information so that you don’t lose it.

No matter what method you’ve chosen, determine the details, set small attainable goals that lead toward your ultimate goals, be flexible so you can conquer challenges, and keep track of your progress. Doing these things will bring you ultimate clarity and success.

I am in control of jump-starting my goals.

I am self-motivated when it comes to taking action to achieve my goals. No one has to tell me to get started! I set goals because they are something I desire and my passion drives me to get what I want.

The very first thing I do when I set a goal is to write up an action plan. I determine all the tasks necessary and then start right away on some easy tasks to build confidence and momentum.

I know that challenges will inevitably arise on my way to my goal. I proactively prepare myself for these challenges so I can take them in stride when they happen.

If I find my motivation waning, I can revive my passion with my handy tools.

First of all, I repeat positive affirmations regularly to keep my focus on successfully achieving my goals. With affirmations, I can stop negative thoughts at their outset. They never even have a chance!

I use meditation and visualizations to melt away my stress so it does not distract me. I imagine myself already having achieved my goals. I feel the joy and exhilaration of accomplishment, and these feelings persist throughout my day.

Finally, I write down my goals and keep them handy. I design vision boards with vivid images of my objective. I post notes and pictures at home, work, and on my computer.

I consult the heroic people of that past and the present by reading their books on how they overcame challenges, listening to their audios and having my own inner circle that helps me to build inner strength.

Today, my plan is to create my list of top 7 key objectives and to take positive proactive action to knock each one of them off one at a time to help me make continued progress to my goal.

Self-Reflection Questions:

Have I written an action plan?

Do I take challenges in stride and continue on my path toward my goal?

What tools work best for me to keep me focused on reaching my goals?

eBook sales are now counting for 17% of revenue at Simon & Schuster.

eBook sales nearly tripled at John Wiley & Sons. They now account for 11% of revenue for the professional/trade unit at Wiley (vs. 4% in the same quarter of last year). Wiley reported seeing strong sales growth at both Amazon and iBooks.

Are you ready for 12 ways to make extra money in your business in 2012 so you can jump start the New Year with a bang? Want to infuse a surge of motivation, profits and new customers into your online business right out the gate in 2012?

As we refocus, reset and reinvigorate ourselves going into 2012, this is perhaps the best time to get something new started. It’s a great time to break out of old habits and experiment with new potentially lucrative habits.

It’s also a great time to look back over the last year to relive our victories and recall lessons from our defeats. It’s a great time to reflect on what worked in 2011 and what didn’t work.

We can also take this time to scan the landscape of life and business to identify new opportunities to target and to go after them with vigor.

Over the next 3 blog post I’ll be sharing with you 12 ways to help you jump-start your online business to make extra money and “Excel in 2012!”

==> Way #1 of 12: Introduce a New Product

One of the best ways to bring in a surge of cash is to market a new product to an existing list or market.

If you already have a number of people on your mailing list, then a well-planned product launch may be all you need to jump-start your sales.

Not only will you bring in cash immediately from the buzz generated from the product launch, you’ll also have a new product to sell that will earn you cash throughout the year and beyond.

A successful product launch is about two things – creating a product that your market will want, and creating buzz and desire around the product before the launch date.

Creating the right product is about knowing your market and knowing what they want. You should be keeping close tabs on what the common questions and pain points in your market are.

Use surveys on Facebook is a great way to start getting insight into what you market needs, wants and wishes for.

Creating buzz and desire around a new product is about gradually revealing more and more about an upcoming product while building excitement – without giving away the product until the launch date.

Take an iPhone launch, for example. A feature is released a few months before, then maybe a few “unofficial” pictures, then maybe a few new technical improvements, then maybe some buzz about something that might just be in the phone…generating a lot of excitement, but nobody actually knows what the phone will be like until it comes out.

Video games like the recent record break release of Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3. Both used tons of in game pictures, in game video trailers and interviews with the developers to rile up the base.

In fact, the pre-launch it was so successful for Battlefield 3 that they sold over 3 millions units on pre-order and to day have sold over 8 million copies.

As exciting as that is for Battlefield 3, the launch of Modern Warfare 3 sucked in $775 MILLION dollars in just 5 DAYS of it’s release last month.

So consider your next new product for 2012 and how you will take it to market.

==> Way #2 of 12: Try a Different Revenue Model

Another way you excel in 2012 and make extra money in your business is to try a different revenue model.

A lot of online business owners get stuck with making money just one way. For example, they’ve gotten so used to making money selling eBooks that they haven’t really experimented with other ways of earning a living.

Different payment models can help you take advantage of all the different kinds of people who are in your customer base.

For example, if you started offering payment plans, you’ll be able to make your products affordable to your lower-income user base.

On the other hand, you might also want to experiment with releasing high ticket items. What can you build or package that can sell for over $1,000? This will allow you to tap into the high earners in your customer base.

If you’ve never sold products, try selling products. Usually you’ll make a lot more money on products than on advertising, AdSense or other CPM-based monetization methods.

If you’ve never tried doing coaching, you might want to try that. Group coaching or high end one-on-one coaching can be a great way to add revenue to the bottom line.

These are just a few ideas of different revenue models you can try. There are many different ways you can make money online and if you haven’t experimented with different revenue models, chances are you’re leaving money on the table.

==> Way #3 of 12: Pick Three New Marketing Strategies to Test in This Coming Year

Finding just one profitable new marketing strategy can increase your revenue and profit by 30% or more. In fact, if you find a large traffic source that’s profitable, you could even double your revenue.

Here are some strategies to think about:

AdWords – If you’ve never tried search engine marketing, now’s the time to start. It’s perhaps the most targeted way to reach customers on the internet.

Direct banner ads – Contact website owners in your industry and inquire about buying banner ads. Often times it’s cheaper than going through an ad network.

Network ad buys – If you have a profitable product line or sales funnel and want to get huge volumes quickly, network ad buys is the way to go.

Social media – Have you ever tested a social media campaign like Facebook ads? Social media can help you build your reputation among your existing users as well as expose you to new users.

Partnerships – What kind of partners can you find to help promote your products? Getting someone with a large list to promote your product can give you a nice instant credibility and traffic boost.

Offline opportunities – Have you done public speaking? Or running events? Perhaps there are offline advertising opportunities, like radio or magazine ads, that you haven’t explored yet?

These are just a few ideas of advertising ideas to put to the test. Pick three ideas that you want to test this year and plan out when you want to roll them out.

==> Way #4 of 12: Revisit Your Vision and Goals

What do you want to achieve from your business? Where is your business headed in one year, five years and ten years from today?

What’s the all-important “why” behind what you’re doing? Has the reason changed from when you first started?

==>A book I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you read this year as we go into 2012 is a booked called “Start With Why” and you can click here to pick it up from Amazon in physical or Kindle format.

Knowing why you’re doing what you’re doing will help keep you motivated to stay on course. Having a clear vision statement will also help you motivate any employees you have towards a common goal.

If you haven’t written down your goals for the year yet, do so now. Your goals should be trackable and have set timeframes for when you want to achieve them.

Make sure you have both financial goals and non-financial goals. Non-financial goals might include spending less time at work, being more mobile, hiring your first employee, outsourcing your task and other important milestones.

Try to set at least one goal that’s extremely ambitious. Most of your goals should be realistic (within striking distance), but you can still have one or two “shoot for the stars” goals (gotta stretch to get it).

Okay, so that is the first 4 ways of 12. Come back tomorrow for the ways #5, #6, #7 and #8.

We’ve all been there. We think we’re well on our way towards a specific goal – whether it’s a new career or a new lease on life – when all of a sudden disaster strikes! We have a setback. Perhaps you didn’t capture the heart of your crush, the promotion fell through, or somehow your perfect plan just didn’t work out.

Disappointment is only human. However, knowing how to accept, manage, and strategize beyond disappointment is the real key to success!

Here are some excellent tips to enable you to stay on track, remain motivated, and defeat your disappointments so that you can overcome them and reap your success:

1. Accept reality. Disappointment is a necessary part of life. In order to experience success, every person must face setbacks or disappointment sometime in their life. The reality of life gives us the polarity of setbacks and successes to better appreciate our wins. Such setbacks also encourage us to strive harder to achieve our goals.

Overcoming challenges brings us the wisdom to reach even higher goals.

2. Accept relativity. Facing up to the fact that life will always bring trials to overcome will help you beat disappointment in your current mission. Hindsight will inevitably show you that no setback is as big as you thought it was at the time.

Realizing that life could have handed you a much larger disappointment helps you put the setback in perspective.

3. Do not dwell. When you are hit with a challenge to obtaining your goal, it can be very easy to sink into disappointment. If you find yourself having a pity party, pull yourself up with some positive thinking. Above all else, do not dwell on the last snafu in your struggle to succeed. Dwelling on your disappointment will not change the fact that it happened.

Spending your time feeling sorry for yourself will delay your success as well as permeate your life with unnecessary pessimism and futility.

4. Create realistic expectations. Like many people today, you may be harboring an unrealistic expectation of yourself. Perhaps you had this inspiring idea to change your life in some grand way. Naturally, you want to achieve your goal now and without anything less than stellar performance! However, realistically, you must recognize that achieving your goals may take some time. You can always adjust your expectations higher and higher as you conquer new goals!

Having unreal expectations of yourself will only set you up for failure, as you cannot reach impossible heights.

5. Learn from your mistakes. When a setback occurs, the first thing you’d like to do might be to toss in the towel on the whole enterprise! However, a much wiser person bent on success will acknowledge the disappointment as a learning experience.

If you examine how and why the unwanted situation occurred, then you may be able to restructure your strategy for even bigger and better things than you had originally planned!

6. Stay positive. Lastly, you can surely find your success and win your prize by obliterating disappointment with positive thoughts. Know that you will obtain your goal! Pessimistic thoughts can swallow you whole if you let them, forcing you to delay or give up your dreams altogether.

Following your positive thoughts with decisive, confident and positive action will propel you to new heights.

Even though disappointment may creep into your life when you least expect it, you can take it in stride by following these techniques. Setbacks don’t define your life; it’s how you react to them that will determine your success. When you face disappointment, learn from the situation, deal with it positively, and confidently move forward toward your goal. Success is yours!

Is self sabotage getting in your way? Do you find yourself repeating behaviors that sabotage your success? Are you ready to put your limiting behavior to rest in favor of a better outlook and greater fulfillment?

The first step to the success you crave is being able to recognize the limiting beliefs that stand in the way of your success. Once you do, you can banish those beliefs in favor of more empowering ones.

Look for these self-sabotaging tactics in your life, so you can replace them with more productive thoughts that support your success:

Self Sabotage Pitfall #1: Settling. Settling for less than your best causes you to stop short of unleashing your fullest potential. Sometimes you settle for less because you’re scared of encountering failure. Other times, you may settle simply because you lack awareness of your own strength.

Test your strength constantly by going out of your comfort zone. Face your fears, because more often than not, your fear is the only obstacle between you and ultimate success.

Self Sabotage Pitfall #2: Expecting too much from others. When you automatically expect help from others, or anticipate that others will bail you out of a tough situation, you’re expecting too much. You are only responsible for yourself.

Even if your friends and family have helped you in the past, they may choose to let you fend for yourself this time around. Always be prepared to suffer the consequences of your actions and clean up your own mess. Choose a more sensible path that takes into account that you may journey to your destination alone.

Self Sabotage Pitfall #3: Feeling sorry for yourself. If your current situation causes you to feel like something’s missing, change your circumstances. Instead of dwelling on what could have been and focusing on the unfortunate hand you’ve been dealt, seek to learn from every experience and focus on solutions, instead of problems.

Your success is your responsibility. Hold yourself accountable for your results and allow unfortunate situations to steer you toward success, instead of deterring you from achieving your dreams. By maintaining this mindset, even your worst trial will be far better than remaining on the sidelines of life.

Self Sabotage Pitfall #4: No contingency plan. If your initial plan gives less than desired results, your only chance at success is your ability to adapt and adjust. Everyone needs a Plan B (and perhaps a Plan C, D, E, F, G and so on). You may feel like a pessimist by planning for an unfortunate outcome, but this planning is actually proactive. It shows your mind that you’re serious about reaching your desired destination.

Ensure your financial security, mental health, and well-being by always planning for the worst while hoping for the best.

If you often find yourself doing any of these self-sabotaging behaviors that hinder your chances of success, decide that today is going to be a new day. The important thing is that you recognize the thought patterns and behaviors that limit you and head in a new direction that supports your success.

Replace stinking thinking with a productive, solution-oriented focus that tells your mind you deserve the success you seek. When you do, your success is inevitable.

In a world loaded with time management techniques I wanted to help you get through the tall weeds and have a quick reference guide of time management techniques that really work and that will work for you.

So click here to download your FREE manual on Time Management Techniques That Work… Even For Procrastinators.

Now, while the time management techniques manual you can download from the link above is jammed packaged with very effective time tips, tactics and techniques let me share with you here one of my favorites.

It’s called the “Pomodoro Technique”

If you’re looking to get more from your day? Want to avoid spending your precious time reading even more books on productivity? You may benefit from the Pomodoro Technique.

This method simplifies time and task management with a single, simple tool: a timer. Try this effective step-by-step method for using this tool to maximize your productivity.

1. Choose Your Timer ( Love using the Gymboss)

➡ The title, “Pomodoro Technique,” is based on the tomato-shaped kitchen timer, but any timer will do. You may benefit from a physical device that you can set and reset manually.

➡ Alternately, you may prefer a software application that offers greater automation.

2. Track Your Sessions

➡ Use a sticky note, notepad, piece of scratch paper, or your computer.

➡ A spreadsheet program such as Excel can work nicely.

➡ Use check boxes to track every session that you complete.

3. Set Your Timer for 25 Minutes

➡ While the timer is running, work without distractions.

➡ A Pomodoro session can be stopped if you must, but it cannot be paused or restarted.

4. Take A Quick Break

➡ When the timer goes off, stop what you’re doing and take a break.

➡ Your break should last at least 5 minutes, but not much longer.

5. After 4 Sessions, Take a Longer Break

➡ When you’ve completed four successful Pomodoro sessions, take a longer break.

➡ Now is a good time for a 30-minute rest.

➡ You may find it refreshing to have a snack, meal, or even a short nap to recharge before beginning again.

That’s all there is to it.

The Pomodoro Technique is a very effective methods amongst various time management techniques.

Give this method a quick test drive, go pick yourself up a Gymboss, which will also make for a great Christmas gift.

Before we get started with my confession, let’s first be clear on the definition we are using here of “guilty.”

Guilty means to admit responsibility; confess.

Since most people associate negative events to the word “guilty” I figured you would race over here to get some dirt, right?

Noooooo… not you.

Let’s begin.

I’m guilty of being like great companies who pour their hear and soul into creating great products… but find some of those products to not be so great. I’ve created products like…

Sony Betamax <- Failed!

Coca Cola- New Coke <- Failed!

Polaroid – Instant Home Movies <- Failed!

Pepsi – Crystal Pepsi <- Failed!

McDonalds – Arch Deluxe Burger <- Failed!

Apple – Lisa <- Failed!

Levi’s – Type 1 Jeans <- Failed!

IBM – PCjr <- Failed!

Ford – Edsel <- Failed!

When I say I created products like those, that means I am guilty of having created my fair share of products that have failed. No one wants to have a failed product. But it happens. So I’m guilty.

Babe Ruth is guilty of having struck out, Michael Jordan is guilty of having missed game winning shots… it’s life, get over it and get going.

WOW (Words Of Wisdom) Moment: Never carry yesterday’s defeat into today’s victory.

So if you have the guts to create products, art, music, books, food etc and some of them fail miserably, know you will certainly have critics mercilessly pouncing on you and having a heyday.

But like the great people and companies that still stand today despite their product defeats… don’t be discouraged or depressed but be determined, lick your wounds and keep it moving.

That said, I’m also guilty of having created some incredible products across multiple markets that continue to serve the greater good for those using them.

LESSON LEARNED: Now matter who you are, no matter how great the idea, you will have products that fail. But the failure is not permanent, it’s just a passage to the next product that will work.

WOW (Words Of Wisdom) Moment: You’ll never get it right unless you’re willing to get it wrong.

I’m guilty of being like the American people who voted politicians into office because the politician said what they can do and what they will do …but they didn’t do it. Only to leave America holding the bag and paying for it as the politicians ducked and dodged responsibility pointing the figures across the table saying “it’s their fault.”

What do I mean here?

I mean I’m guilty of having trusted the wrong people. Of having (hired) voted people into my corporate office and trusting them to deliver on our brand promise. But all they did was play politics, make excuses, under-perform, fail the company, not live the vision and values, and ultimately let some of our customers and clients down… all while collecting checks. And once they were given the boot I was left holding the bag, being blamed and having to stand strong, be responsible and clean up the mess.

(Don’t you think Rupert Murdoch realizes now, after that fact that he trusted the wrong people?)

When people are collecting checks you’re the best thing that ever happened to them, and when you stop paying them for their non-performance you’re the worst thing to ever happen to them and they go out of their way to try to destroy the reputation you took years to build.

LESSON LEARNED: Don’t just hire on resumes and promises because everyone looks good on paper. Do a value and character test and make sure your values are aligned and their character is good and strong. Also, check who you trusting, especially if they have unproven character.

WOW (Words Of Wisdom) Moment: There is a high price to be paid for having the wrong people around the right dream.

I’m guilty of having been one of the smaller little dot.com start ups in the late 1990′s with a great idea… gone bad.

Remember this…

Webvan (1999-2001) raised $375 million in an IPO and they failed, but the failure of Webvan didn’t make it scam.

Pets.com (1998-2000) Amazon.com-backed Pets.com and raised 82.5 million in an IPO in February 2000 before collapsing nine months later. Pets.com failure didn’t make it a scam.

Kozmo.com (1998-2001) raised about $280 million and even secured a $150 million promotion deal with Starbucks. But it failed, yet Kozmo’s faiure didn’t make it a scam.

Flooz.com (1998-2001) raised $35 million from investors and signed retail giants such as Tower Records, Barnes & Noble, and went bankrupt in August 2001. But it’s failure didn’t make it a scam.

eToys.com (1997-2001) raised $166 million in a May 1999 IPO, but failed and closed in March 2001. But it wasn’t a scam. In fact, they are making another run at it.

Boo.com (1998-2000) burned through $160 million before its liquidation in May 2000. It failed, but it wasn’t a scam.

MVP.com (1999-2000) was backed by sports greats John Elway, Michael Jordan, and Wayne Gretzky and $65 million. A few months after its launch, MVP.com entered into an $85 million, four-year agreement with CBS in which the network would provide advertising in exchange for an equity stake in the e-tailer. Yet barely a year later, CBS and its online affiliate SportsLine.com killed the agreement because MVP.com failed to pay the network an agreed-upon $10 million per year. The game was over for MVP.com soon afterward. It failed, but it wasn’t a scam.

Go.com (1998-2001) a combination of Disney’s online properties and Infoseek, but it failed and Disney took a write-off of $790 million. Go.com still exists, but it carries only feeds from other Disney Web properties.

…now, in the late 1990′s I started an online venture with just under $100,000 in investor capital. It worked for several months and people were singing my praises… and then it failed… and the small handful of investors cried foul and said it was scam …WTF, are they on medication?

Bernie Madoff, now that’s a scam. What I had was (for a lot less money than the body count above) …a failed business model and lost pennies by comparison to the bigger flops of that time.

In my mind, we got off easy. We failed fast with a smaller amount.

WOW (Words Of Wisdom) Moment: It’s better to fail fast and cheap, than to fail slow and expensive.

LESSON LEARN: When people invest in a business and it’s going great, you’re a divine intervention in their life, but when that business fails you’re the devil and you ran a scam. Go big, but make sure you go big with investors and partners who have the stomach and guts and understand the risk. That when the ideas wins, you all win equally based on shares but if it losses, you all lose equally, also based on shares. But no one person becomes the scapegoat of convenient blame.

So in the face of failure, what is success?

Each of us define what success is for us.

Unfortunately, many of us live our lives by other peoples definition of success and in an attempt to be accepted and not rejected we will many times go to great lengths to be successful by their terms and standards.

That said, no matter how you define success, I’m sure we can agree that success is a moving target.

Getting a tricycle at 5 years old may of been a success back then. Getting one today may be bizarre, unless you have some circus thing going on.

That aside, understand that it’s decisions that create success, it’s decisions that keep success and it’s decisions that grow success.

Who you decide to hire… who you decide to trust… what you decide to believe… who you decide to follow… what you decide to read… etc.

When you consider how many decision you will make, you’re bound to make some bad decisions, regardless of how successful you’ve become and how much money you have accumulated.

The archives of business history, and my life are filled with stories to testify to this fact.

However we don’t have to reach to far back to find a story to serve this point.

Just look at Netflix’s.

The company just short of 2 years ago had it’s stock trading at just above $300 a share. And right at the high point the company leadership made a “decision” …a decision that would send hundreds of thousands of subscribers running for the exits and send their stock plummeting to just under $70 a share and flip the company upside down from profitable, to an announcement this week that projects they will lose money for the entire year of 2012.

That’s a snapshot of Netflix.

There has been other costly decisions made, while at the same time they face rapidly rising cost of content, lose of content contracts and getting the squeeze from competitors that include RedBox and Hulu with new streaming competition from Google and Amazon.

Okay, so what’s the point.

The point is, you must stay frosty.

Success can be cozy, but when you get comfy and cozy you can get a little cocky and that gets costly as bad decision begin to mount.

WOW (Words Of Wisdom) Moment: Success is no insulation to bad decisions and it offers up no immunity to mistakes.

WOW (Words Of Wisdom) Moment: What you will find when you make more money is that your mistakes are more costly.

And all along that road people will give you an ear full as you march forward and make your fair share of mistakes and failures.

So when you fail, don’t allow those around you who want to pick the scab of those wounds to bother you.

You’re earning your strips.

WOW (Words Of Wisdom) Moment: Maturity comes from mistakes and mentorship and despite how much mentoring get, you will still have your fair share of mistakes.

Everyone makes mistakes, and you only become crucified by them when your mistakes are public. Which means you had guts to go for it in the open field, not in some closet corner.

Keep those guts. And let the losers fail in private and sweep it under their rugs.

I will continue to press onward and upward and take whatever licks I must take on the way in terms of failures, mistakes and criticisms.

WOW (Words Of Wisdom) Moment: I fear no failure… I fear no mistakes… I fear no criticism, I fear no man. For God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and sound mind.

I’m guilty of being like great men and women who didn’t wait for others to give them permission to be great. They saw their own greatness and they stepped into, only to be first met with failure prior to tasting victory.

I’m guilty of being like…

Bill Gates: Gates didn’t seem like a shoe-in for success after dropping out of Harvard and starting a failed first business with Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen called Traf-O-Data. While this early idea didn’t work, Gates’ later work did, creating the global empire that is Microsoft.

Akio Morita: You may not have heard of Morita but you’ve undoubtedly heard of his company, Sony. Sony’s first product was a rice cooker that unfortunately didn’t cook rice so much as burn it, selling less than 100 units. This first setback didn’t stop Morita and his partners as they pushed forward to create a multi-billion dollar company.

Henry Ford: While Ford is today known for his innovative assembly line and American-made cars, he wasn’t an instant success. In fact, his early businesses failed and left him broke five time before he founded the successful Ford Motor Company.

R. H. Macy: Most people are familiar with this large department store chain, but Macy didn’t always have it easy. Macy started seven failed business before finally hitting big with his store in New York City.

Robert Goddard: Goddard today is hailed for his research and experimentation with liquid-fueled rockets, but during his lifetime his ideas were often rejected and mocked by his scientific peers who thought they were outrageous and impossible. Today rockets and space travel don’t seem far-fetched at all, due largely in part to the work of this scientist who worked against the feelings of the time.

Jerry Seinfeld: Just about everybody knows who Seinfeld is, but the first time the young comedian walked on stage at a comedy club, he looked out at the audience, froze and was eventually jeered and booed off of the stage. Seinfeld knew he could do it, so he went back the next night, completed his set to laughter and applause, and the rest is history.

Tom Landry: As the coach of the Dallas Cowboys, Landry brought the team two Super Bowl victories, five NFC Championship victories and holds the records for the most career wins. He also has the distinction of having one of the worst first seasons on record (winning no games) and winning five or fewer over the next four seasons.

So I want to encourage you, as we enter a new year to know that failure and defeat, critics and haters are all par for the course.

I wish I could say it will be easy. I can’t but I can tell you it will be worth it.

It’s worth being found guilty of having a passion and purpose so strong that it burns up those around you.

It’s worth being found guilty of having made mistakes in pursue of a higher purpose.

It’s worth being found guilty of having given your best and tasted the dirt of defeat as you marched for more life.

It’s worth being found guilty of giving those around you an equal opportunity and kicking them the hell out when they abuse your trust and betray your confidence.

It’s worth being found guilty of making wrong decisions in route to making the right decisions.

It’s worth being found guilty for taking the only life you have and throwing everything you can behind it to sculpt a memorable masterpiece.

It’s worth being found guilty of having a dream so big that when you talk about it, it irritates those around you with small minds.

It’s worth being found guilty of having walked away from cherished relationships to protect the picture of your future that you cherish even more.

So if you want to stand with me and excel in 2012 and be found guilty of re-imagining a better you, re-engineering your mind, reinventing yourself, re-energizing your passion and resurrecting your dreams… then let’s do it. I’m your guy.

KNOW you are “The Chosen One!”

You are chosen to lead your family to a better place.
You are chosen to alter your family’s financial legacy.
You are chosen to be a beacon of hope and possibilities for those who follow you.
You are chosen to be brave and courageous to endure the uncertainty on the path of certain success.
You are chosen to step up when others step down, to get up after being knock down to speak up where others suffer in silence.

KNOW you are “The Chosen One!”

Choose to be guilty of stepping up, not backing down.

Choose to be guilty of pursuing your dreams, not burying them.

Choose to be guilty of being strong, not being weak.

Choose to be guilty of love, not hate.

Choose to be guilty of being you, not being someone else.

Choose to be guilty of persisting until you succeed, not quitting because it easiest to do.

Remember, critics are not admired and quitters don’t inspire.

Nobody grows up wanting to be a critic or quitter. You become one or the other when you have no guts to do something really meaningful with your life.

And speaking of critics…

To my critics and haters, I don’t wish you hell, I wish you well.

I don’t mind your unhealthy obsessions with me. It’s flattering that out of a full day of 1,440 minutes you find so much time to make me matter more than many other things in your life.

I’m don’t mind being pillow talk for you with your significant other, or dinner talk because life is so boring for you, that you can only find excitement when my name comes up.

I understand how empty and angry you feel when you see how full of passion I am to pursue my dreams and sprout above my challenges and bounce back from disappointments.

You admire that in me, I know… you told me that when you were around, and now you miss being around that and the idea of me not needing you and wanting you hurts you and the only way you have found to deal with that pain is to turn it towards me with your lies, slander and libel that you think hurts me, but is actually eating away at your soul… not mine.

I understand though, and when you reach the point of emotional maturity I hope you can forgive yourself as much as I’ve already forgiven you.

I feels good to be thought about… no matter the thoughts. I still fill your consciousness because you miss the love, care, laughter, gifts and freedom you had with me. You miss how much you felt alive. You missed how tough I was in pulling out the best in you, you miss watching me hustle tirelessly to sculpt myself and those I come in contact with to unleash the depth of their human potential.

But now you’ve gone to the dark side. You’ve let the regrets and repercussions of your on actions turn into an unbearable bitterness that you are unable to escape right now.

Open yourself to be healed, because the harm you try to do to others is only harming you.

Now, not to be offensive, but in the spirit of joyfully “doing me”, I’d like to wish all my critics and haters a Happy Thanksgiving and a KISS MY A$$ holiday!

“Everyone fears failure. But breakthroughs depend on it. The best companies embrace their mistakes and learn from them.” – Bloomberg BusinessWeek, July 2006 Cover Story “How Failure Breeds Success”

Challenging circumstances can quickly raise ones anxiety and stress levels.

I have some powerful and proven solutions for you in a special report you can download.

Look -> Click here to download your “Anxiety and Stress Eliminate” Report which contains quick anxiety and stress elimination methods that are proven to work.

What I’d like to address here in today’s blog post is how to not lose yourself in a sea of anxiety and stress.

Better yet, how to cherish yourself despite your challenging circumstances.

If there is one thing I now very well, it’s fear, anxiety, stress and tension.

What I also know very well is how to deal with it, live with it, grow from it and use it.

To be able to effectively leverage the anxiety and stress in our lives, we must first make sure we don’t lose site of our self worth and personal value.

So, does life seem to be a struggle for you? Do you feel overwhelmed and frustrated much of the time? Do you wish you could experience something better? Fortunately, you can enjoy the exciting life you deserve.

Success is available to you despite challenging circumstances. It’s important to remember, also, that your self-worth is not defined by your circumstances.

What holds you back? Take some time today to question the beliefs you hold that limit your potential. If you look at a challenging circumstance as a wall that’s impossible to climb, you need a fresh perspective. Within you is everything you need to thrive and excel. The more you question the validity of your limiting beliefs, the more success you’ll experience in your life.

Think of a circumstance in your life that you believe is preventing you from something you want. Write it down, then get ready to challenge that limiting belief. If you do, you’ll begin to move toward the success you deserve.

Use these strategies to maintain a positive self-worth, regardless of your circumstances:

1. Find the cause. What is the cause of the circumstance in your life? Sometimes, limiting beliefs can serve as warning signs that help you avoid danger. What can you learn from this so you avoid triggering a similar situation in the future?

If the cause of your situation is unclear, ask friends and family for their input. Others see your life from a different perspective, and their input can be valuable in determining the root of your difficulty.

2. Get past the blame game. You can often be your own worst critic. Fortunately, negative self-talk often has very little basis in reality. Choose to replace the doubts of your inner critic with more productive thinking.

Once a negative thought has taught you its intended lesson, it has served its purpose. If you choose to hold onto those negative thoughts, they will begin to form a negative self-image in your mind. This unbalanced view of your talents and strengths holds you back.

Instead of dwelling on negative thoughts about your circumstances, learn the lesson and resolve to move on. Find out what you can do differently to avoid a repeat of your present situation. Then, when negative thoughts enter your mind, choose to replace your self-talk with productive thoughts instead.

3. Cut yourself some slack. Recognize that you’re human. Everyone makes mistakes, but your attitude determines your altitude in life. You are valuable regardless of your present predicament. You are worthwhile even when you slip up or falter. Your circumstances simply provide feedback and an opportunity to learn and grow.

4. Make the most of it. When you recognize that you’re valuable despite your circumstances, you’ll begin to make the most of every opportunity. Stumbling blocks you face can become stepping stones to the success you deserve, simply by changing what you focus on.

Instead of feeling helpless, ask yourself: “What’s great about this?” Every situation provides something of value if you look for it.

5. Ask for help. Loved ones and friends often see strengths in you that go without notice. Ask them what they believe your strengths are. This is where your self-worth is found. Everyone has something of value to contribute.

Once you recognize your unique talents, gifts, and abilities, you’ll see life in a whole new way. You’ll seek opportunities to use your talents to bless others. You’ll gain confidence that comes from conquering challenges that once made you cringe.

Instead of allowing your circumstances to dictate who you are, you’ll make the rules!

6. Live one day at a time. Despite your best efforts, some days simply provide one frustration after another. When this happens, you have a choice. You can let your circumstances defeat you, or you can choose a more positive perspective.

Resolve today to find your strengths, learn from your difficult circumstances, and experience the joy you were created to experience. Instead of tying your self-worth to your circumstances, choose to see things as they really are. You were created with unique talents and gifts. When you find those gifts within yourself and put them to use, you’ll know how valuable you truly are.

My life has remarkable worth.

I am an individual created for a grand purpose. I am the only one in this world who can do what I am called to do.

There are people who love me more than they are able to express. My family, my friends, and my colleagues think the world of me. Even if we fail to see eye to eye at times, they still have great respect for me.

Even when I feel overlooked by others, I am still valuable. Many people notice my work, and those people may never get the chance to tell me. Life moves fast and some people simply don’t take the time to tell me that they notice my work.

My worth lies in my own view of myself. When I acknowledge that my Creator designed me for a noble purpose, my confidence grows.

My destiny is just waiting for me to fulfill it. There are amazing things in my future, which I work hard to attain. I refuse to allow discouragement to rob me of my destiny.

I am precious to my Creator. Even when it is hard for me to see my own worth, I know that I am valuable. Each morning, I turn the page of my past and embrace the new chance to make a change.

Today, I choose to see myself as a chest filled with treasure. I have more beauty than diamonds and more worth than gold.

Self-Reflection Questions:

Do I ever feel invisible?

Do I acknowledge my worth?

Why does my life matter? To whom does my life matter?

Look -> Click here to download your “Anxiety and Stress Eliminate” Report which contains quick anxiety and stress elimination methods that are proven to work.

This training, if you use it will help you to;

Build your self-esteem

Re-engineer your self confidence

Reimagine a better you

Reinvent yourself

Blast through fears

Build a mind like a steel trap

Add some backbone to that wishbone

And tons more!

Okay?

GREAT!

Now, here’s is something that Martin Luther King once said…

“Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.”

In reflecting on this, realize that when we’re just starting out on something new and daring (like starting a new business, a new relationship, cutting off old toxic relationships, going back to school, changing habits, learning something new, etc), taking the first step may be unnerving.

We have to remember, however, that we don’t have to see the whole future spreading out in front of us.

We have to take the first step toward our goals whether we can see the next step or not. If we can’t take the first step, we’ll get nowhere standing still.

Set goals and know where you want to go.

Take the first step in faith.

Keep walking so you can reach your goal.

Ask Yourself:

Do I know what my first step is?

Am I willing to keep moving forward even if I don’t know the path?

Who can I take with me for support on my journey?

The one thing that can put a choke hold on you being proactive is fear, so what I have for you today is your “How To Overcome Fear” manual.

Look –> Click here to download your “How To Overcome Fear” manual.

I live a life free from worry and fear.

I am brave and courageous, and I can do anything I put my mind to. Fear and worry pass me by because I am strong. I refuse to allow worries and fears to bother me or make a home in my thoughts.

I know I have control over my own destiny, and I choose to move into that destiny boldly and without hesitation. Running away solves nothing! I work toward my goals with courage and perseverance, creating a destiny of success.

Worries and fears are absent from my life. I let the past stay in the past, without regrets or worries to cloud my present. I focus on the wonders of each new day and I shrug off fear about the future, since I trust that good things will come. I am happy, content, and brave.

I take on tasks with strength and courage. I can accomplish my dreams because I bravely take chances and try new things that can push me forward toward my goals.

Regardless of what comes my way, I can handle it. Rather than fearing things I don’t understand, I learn the facts I need to ease my concerns. No weapon formed against me can prosper, as I am capable of overcoming any challenge. I banish fear, seek solutions, and boldly take action to get back on track.

Shedding the shackles of worry and fear gives me the freedom to live with all the gusto I’ve got so I can enjoy my life to the fullest!

Today, and everyday I AM brave, courageous, and bold in everything I do.

Ask Yourself:

How can I move forward more boldly in my life?

What does being brave and courageous do for me?

What can I accomplish if I don’t let fear and worry stop me?
